🎤 Make It Happen Monday Podcast episode 🎤
Partnerships, the ultimate sales multiplier when done right with John Barrows and Russell Bradley-Cook
Confession, I grew up without TV. Despite multiple requests, Santa never delivered so when it came to following baseball as a boy I was stuck listening to the radio.
Later when I started to watch baseball on TV, I wondered why the radio announcers were so much better. I'd even turn off the TV volume and tune in to the radio. It occurred to me recently that this constant background chatter in my childhood may be why I love podcasts so much.
Radio show call-ins would inevitably start with "long-time listener, first-time caller", and that was exactly my thought when I recorded my Make It Happen Monday podcast with John Barrows to talk about Partnerships.
John has generously built MIHM to improve the sales profession. As a regular listener, I've been impressed with his honesty about losing his dad, his efforts to promote a more inclusive sales culture, and his self-reflection as CEO of a business that thrived while he was away dealing with his personal situation.
Our episode just released and it is far from perfect. There are points I want to add, answers I should have done better and questions I wish I’d asked. Yet I had a blast and we talked almost as much before and after the recording as during it.
Excited to kick off the discussion about how partnerships will enable sales contributors and leaders to achieve their goals in 2023 and beyond.
Have a listen and I'd love your thoughts.
PS I still don't have a TV or even Netflix and am looking forward to future letters to Santa from my two boys.
